Will lash extensions ruin your natural lashes?

As long as the lash artist is using the correct weight, length and diameter lash specified to their specific client’s natural lashes and the right amount of glue, lash extensions should not harm your natural lashes. 

Will lash extensions make my natural lashes fall out?

Your natural lashes have different growth cycles that shed your lashes with or without lash extensions. Lash extensions, unless being done incorrectly, should not cause natural lashes to fall out.  

What is the process of getting lash extensions?

The step-by-step process of getting lash extensions is to start with a consultation to fill out forms and determine the eye shape and expectations of each client. Then, after laying down on the lash bed, the natural lashes need to be cleaned as well as placing lash tape onto the bottom lashes to prevent them from sticking to the top lashes. Each natural lash will then be isolated to place on an individual lash extension. This process takes about 2-3 hours.

How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions, depending on your natural lashes growth cycle,  usually stay on anywhere from 5-8 weeks. It is recommended to get lash fills every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking full.  

How do I remove lash extensions?

Contact your lash artist! Do not try to remove lash extensions yourself to prevent damaging your natural lashes. Your lash artist will use a lash remover that breaks down the adhesive to slide the lash extension off of the natural lashes. This process will not harm your natural lashes.  

Can you wear make-up/mascara with lash extensions?

It is recommended to only wear oil-free lash extension make-up and mascara. Mascara must only be used on the bottom lashes.
