I am the owner of WhipLash by Jessica - thanks for stopping by our site. I also teach all the courses that we offer!
I’m 30 years old and began specializing in all things eyelash extensions in 2015. I really like doing eyelash extensions. My reasoning for starting my own lash business was due to how I felt the first time I had my own eyelashes done. I felt like a completely different person and wanted to give other women the same experience.
My clients allow me to enjoy my job - they always love the way they feel after I am done with them and that makes me so happy. I love the bonds that I form with my clients so much - I never feel like I am working and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
EDUCATION
Originally, I went to Erie 1 boces for body waxing where I received my body waxing certificate. Later on, after starting at Continental Beauty School, I realized lashes were my passion and decided to move forward with continuing my education in the lash industry.
I went into entrepreneurship at the University at Buffalo and have received many certifications and opportunities throughout my lashing career thus far. Some such as my esthetics certificate, lash lift training programs, volume lash extension certificate, and many more. Along the way, I also became a brand ambassador for a company called Designer Pro that has amazing, top-of-the-line products as well.
About WhipLash by Jessica
I never planned to teach people about eyelash extensions. I started teaching courses for WhipLash by Jessica because people were always coming to me and asking me for tips/advice/techniques. I did it happily because I loved it so much.
Eventually, I realized that I could start giving courses to other licensed professionals. I wanted to teach other lash artists the ins and outs of things like industry standards, policies, good boundaries to have, and other tips to have a thriving lash business. It took a lot of trials and error for me to get my brand where it is today. My hopes are that with this course you can learn the lessons that I have learned during my career the easy and fun way instead of learning from mishaps and mistakes.
